I was a loyal member of MERC on Planetside on both Werner and Gemini - you may remember me as SCX333, Tatranka or TartarosCZ

I then stopped playing because I moved and didn't have a proper computer, etc. Now that I bought one again (this baby http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=8je5Ot4HBnKOdT81 ) I went on to try the game that cauight my attention some time ago as the "next almost Planetside" and it's quite fun. Plus I was gladly surprised to find out you guys made the same decision. So where else would I go and with whom else would I play other than you <3

I have a character called Moonquake (the stupid GA registration web was telling me I cant use none of my older nicknames till I found out it's actually talking about the acc name... but in the end I kinda liked this nick I came up with in desperation :)
It's a robotics, currently lvl34, and playing it in "assault" mode (drones + shotgun)
I might not be the best twitch player ever but I tend to try to understand how things work and how to use them best, so I hope I'm of some value in a battle ;)
Never been to AvA though, hope I get to try it out with you guys.
Just tell me how serious you are with the "tryout phase" I read about in jolly's post :)

As for "the next almost Planetside", it's not quite that as I'm sure you've noticed, GA is a lot different from PS. But we've established ourselves quite well here, good to see you joining up. :)

Yea ofc I noticed, or more like I knew from the start, hence the "almost". But there's some added value over a regular FPS, and there's the "no instagib headshots" part which I happen to like too over regular FPSes. So yeah close enough :)

As for JG:E it's still not out, neither is Black Prophecy or several other promising games... So at least I can rejoin with the old pack here :)
